last thursday night i attended the amazing spiderman premier in los angeles. my friend caroline and i were able to walk the red carpet, watch the movie, and later enjoy the after party where we were able to rub elbows with the stars.
the movie was nothing short of amazing combining the classic tale with a fresh perspective of the story. andrew garfield evolved peter parker into a lovable and green teenager filled with all the bravado and insecurities one may have at that age. emma stone was (of course) darling and a perfect counterpart to andrew's character. it was directed by marc webb who won our hearts in 500 days of summer - so you can expect the same charm and realism in this movie.
this action flick was jam packed with stunning visual effects (must watch in 3-d!), a clever storyline, and heart-felt human sentiments.
buy your tickets. this is one summer movie you can't miss out on!
