sundays in los angeles are best entertained by going to the flea market. one of the most famous ones (melrose flea market) is blocks away from my apartment and because of its convenient proximity, i frequent it often. it's only $2 to get in, and 100% of the proceeds goes to the highschool in which hosts the trading post every sunday "rain or shine."
i absolutely love going through the racks looking for buried treasures. the jewelry is also something that's absolutely stellar - the majority of the vendors make their own. i'm a huge huge fan in supporting local craftsmen and vendors.
there's nothing like throwing on a pair of sweats and walking over to see what i can find week to week.
