after a crazy week at work, i was so excited to go up to my friend's house for some gumbo (i had never had it before) which was delicious! sitting on the balcony chit-chatting and drinking some white wine, i was taken aback by the gorgeous and serene view. up in the hills, you forget about the city and are reminded that beautiful nature is all around us.
