if there was one thing that was set in my heart to do while i was in london, it was to have proper afternoon tea. the lanesborough played the perfect host to have this dream come true. the decor of the main room was something fantastically out of a great gatsby set.
the most brilliant part about all of this was just minutes before our reservation, my friend and i were galloping around hyde park enjoying the sunshine. with new dresses in tow, we slipped into something a bit more proper for the lovely occasion.
