throwback thursday

this has to be one of my favorite shoots i did may of last year pairing up my mom's vintage skirt with a high shouldered top, cheap necklace, and not-so-cheap heels. i cannot begin to express how much of a fan i am of really styling outfits with both low-end and high-end items.

nature inspired

i cannot thank tammie jane enough for the stellar shoot we did together!

the theme for this outfit was very boho and nature inspired (if ya couldn't tell). shooting at the old los angeles zoo on a beautiful and sunny sunday afternoon really worked like a charm.

so what in blue blazes am i actually wearing? the shirt i bought off my neighbor at a yard sale for $5; the skirt is from urban outfitters; the belt is actually an old old forever 21 necklace; bracelets are a mixed between tribal, a diamond bracelet and a red good luck charm string; the diamond ring is from the late 1970's that my mom gave me. crazy, huh?
