one of my favorite parts about my neighborhood is actually a church garden down the block from me which houses the most beautiful flowers and greenery. i happily tend to find myself on weekend mornings grabbing coffee and a book and spending quite a bit of time relaxing there before my day actually starts. any bit of retreat in this big city is always welcomed.

i'm over the moon thrilled to have bought these fabulous 3.1 phillip lim trousers - my first purchase from a brand that i'm completely in awe of. pairing it up with my ol' faithful blouse, i gave it a different twist by literally giving it a twist (insert me chuckling here). by creating a knot in the blouse, the look was transformed from a somewhat traditional outfit, to one that is more modern. alas, the self made crop top!

last night, 3.1 phillip lim had their spring/summer collection party at their gorgeous store in west hollywood. the entire space is a fashionista's dream come true - from the tailoring of each piece to the luxurious feel of the garments, this is hands down one of my favorite designers.
