going to new york city for thanksgiving holiday only brought sheer terror and anxiety over the weather and what in blue heavens i was going to wear to shield me from said artic blast. thanks to my friends over at sheinside, i bundled up with this classic cable knit sweater complete with even more classic elbow patches.

sequin holiday

staying at the crawford hotel inside union station in denver was such an absolute treat (thanks brooke at fogg management!). already decorated for the holidays, it really started the season on the right foot for me. to my utter surprise, coming back to los angeles and its 77* weather left me wanting the cold and snow.
this sequin wool top by marc jacobs was just what the doctor ordered - keeping me warm and fashionable throughout my work trip. of course keeping the outfit black on black was the most conventional of choices in the cold. hoorah!

this has to be one of my favorite outfits and shoots i’ve done in  while. the second that my friend/photographer jen told me to tuck my hair in the jacket (only exposing my front layers), we both knew we were on to something. snagging a pic of this and posting on my instagram fueled an entire dialogue of whether or not I had chopped off my hair.
which led me to wonder... should i chop it off for real?
